We have gone through some extensive research to bring you the best running shoes for women in 2017. Gone are the days where women’s running shoes are a smaller version of the men’s. Now they have a different shape and different cushion to them.
Here are the best of 2017:
New Balance Fresh Foam Zante v3 – $100
We love how versatile this shoe is. It’s lightweight, so you can use it for speed running and it will be able to handle a marathon too. New Balance have increased the flexibility of the shoe and made improvements to the outsole protrusions.
Brooks Ravenna 8 – $120
The Ravenna model has always been able to deal with long road runs and also tempo runs with relative ease. The 8 model feels softer and has more of a spring to it, there’s also an x patch of rubber in the middle with makes the gap from heel to toe more comfortable.
Saucony Peregrine 7 – $120
The Peregrine 7 hasn’t shot up in price since it’s last offering, and we love this shoe because it’s steady and gives a lot of versatility. Saucony have given their latest model a thin bouncy block of foam under the sock liner.
Adidas Supernova – $130
Adidas have completely revamped the Supernova, you will see that from top to bottom they have rung the changes – now it’s a lot softer and that makes it more appealing to all runners out there. It’s no wonder that the Adidas Supernova won the award of ‘Best Update, Spring 2017’ from runners world. They have added cushioning to the heel, which gives you more bounce when you’re running.
Rebook OSR Harmony Road – $120
The Harmony Road made its debut in the trainer market this year and it has been very well received by runners across the globe. It’s a great option for those runners that are looking for a comfortable show that provides a soft landing and very smooth transition from heel to toe. The secret part of this shoe is the material they have used to a high rebound cushion, they achieve this by placing tiny yellow tubes in the heel of the shoe.
